More than four decades after the Abbey Road sessions came to an end, an alternate version of the solo used in the final mix of Here Comes The Sun has been found. The discovery came while producer George Martin, his son Giles and George Harrison's son, Dhani, were visiting the famous studio. The master tape of the song, which was recorded while John Lennon was absent, included a guitar solo by George Harrison that was different from the one that was used in the final version of the 1969 landmark album. See the video of Harrison and the two Martins as they listen to the track in the control room here.
